Hazras Charity Foundation (HCF), in collaboration with Sahel University, Somalia, successfully organized a 2-day workshop aimed at building the capacity of medical students through practical knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and exposure to critical healthcare topics. This initiative was part of HCF’s broader commitment to enhancing healthcare education and empowering future healthcare professionals across Africa.

Workshop Objectives

To enhance the clinical and soft skills of medical students.

To expose participants to practical case-based learning and ethical standards in medical practice.

Participants

The workshop engaged over 31 registered medical students from Sahel University. The participants demonstrated enthusiasm and strong commitment throughout the sessions.

Workshop Highlights

Day 1:
Topics included Primary Healthcare Systems, Patient-Centered Care, and Leadership in Medicine. Sessions were facilitated by expert medical professionals affiliated with Hazras Charity Foundation.

Day 2:
Focused on Humanitarian Health Response, Medical Ethics, and Community Health Engagement. The day concluded with interactive breakout sessions and practical group work.
