Subject: Meeting with World Bank Representative on CSO issues and challenges
It was a pleasure to meet with the World Bank representative on [insert date] to discuss the challenges and issues facing Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Nigeria. We had a productive discussion on a range of topics, including funding, capacity building, and advocacy.
We shared our experiences with the challenges we have faced as a CSO, including difficulties in securing funding, limited capacity to implement projects, and challenges in engaging with government and other stakeholders. The
World Bank representative shared some insights on the challenges facing CSOs from the perspective of international donors and organizations. We also discussed some potential solutions and strategies for addressing these challenges.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have this dialogue with the World Bank and hope that it will lead to increased collaboration and support for CSOs in Nigeria. We will continue to work to improve the capacity and effectiveness of CSOs in our country and look forward to further dialogue with the World Bank.
